WHY NO OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION?

We know that the whole community is waiting for an official communication from Vitae AG and its founders, but we must understand that any reporting of this lawsuit to the outside world can - at this stage , while the judicial investigation is still ongoing (and therefore secret) – be used to our disadvantage by the legal apparatus.

That is why Vitae's lawyers prohibit any communication about the evolution of the lawsuit.

This is not unusual. On the contrary. We refer to the following quote from the book ‘Fake Law, The Truth About Justice in an Age of Lies’:

“Instinctively, the nothing to hide mantra may be superficially attractive. But it ignores that people may remain silence for a variety of reasons unrelated to innocence or guilt. (…) because they want to wait and see what the evidence against them is, so that they can give the best account of themselves (…) I have given this advice to clients who screamed their innocence at me during our conferences: The case against you is weak. I know you want to tell (the jury) your side, but, in my judgement, you are likely to trip up, get yourself in a tangle and inadvertently help the prosecution case. It is better for you to say nothing.” (p. 226).

This book was written by a member of the British anonymous collective of lawyers 'The Secret Barister' (“They were named Independent Blogger of the Year at the Editorial intelligence Comment Awards 2016 and 2017 and Legal Personality of the Year at the Law Society Awards in 2018).

Another, practical reason why our founders are not allowed by their lawyers to talk in public, is to avoid that people make screenshots or spread videos with the best of intentions - but by doing so take words out of context.

Such pitfalls are real and even obvious when communicating with members of Vitae on a global scale and statements taken out of context can be misinterpreted and play into the hands of the prosecutor.

Dear member,

The journey we have and are still going through as a strong community is a difficult one, for some more than others, but the unity you have shown all this time is remarkable and beyond describing.

The reason we went into a fight against such a powerful entity as the Belgian federal prosecutors office is more than the financial loss you all had by the actions of the Belgian justicial system. It has many more reasons to it and we will list a few.

The idea that a legal system would freeze assets of people ‘they claim’ are victims is beyond understanding, it is like locking up a victim behind bars to ‘protect’ him/her from the aggressor. It is just lunacy.

The idea that not a single claim by members has been filed against Vitae AG, claiming they were defrauded, makes you wonder how this investigation started in the first place. The fact that a police officer can entirely on his own launch this investigation, only to later find out that this policeman has a financial interest in our destruction is scary and frankly dangerous.

We like to make the following point very clear: we are not fighting on the company's behalf or on behalf of any other suspect in this case (we are sure they are doing so vigorously), we are fighting to get our property back, both the financial part of it and the free speech communication aspect of it.

Some of you may ask: what does this have to do with me? Or I didn’t lose much by the action of the authorities, or might say ‘I moved on from my losses’, but when we see some people of Asia, Africa, and even in Europe that aren’t blessed with prosperity, it gives us an obligation to stand up for them and be their voice for freedom. They deserve it.



United we stand, united we fight and united we win!

Dear friends,

On 22/06/2021 we found out with shock and awe that we are being accused of committing criminal offences.

This date will live in infamy as from that day on, many accusations have been levelled against us, our lives have been changed forever.

From the first second and still today we have been steadfast in our innocence and in our good intentions when building and developing a new era ‘social media’ that is different than others.

Being different does not make it illegal, having a (somehow) complex system does not make you a crook, and disbelieving the outcome of our venture does not make it a criminal organisation.

Our belief from day one and even more so today one year in, that this investigation is a tunnel vision, with a predetermined view regardless of the facts.

While we had some major (personal) victories the last year, this story is far from over and there is a long battle ahead, but rest assured, we have not given up for a second in the pursuit of the truth.

While we do not yet know what tomorrow will bring, history has thaught us that the truth always prevails.

The course of this struggle is not known, yet its outcome is certain, freedom and fear, justice and cruelty have always been at war and we know that God is not neutral between them.

We will meet this challenge with patient justice, assured of the rightness of our cause and confident of the victory to come.

This last year was filled with disbelief, distrust and full of disappointments, but at the same time it made us stronger.

We will not forget the wound inflicted on us and those who inflicted it, we will not yield, we will not rest, we will not relent in waging this struggle for freedom and liberty.

We would love to communicate more insights of this incredible, extraordinary, baseless allegations but according to Belgian law it is forbidden for us to disclose details of this ongoing case.

This case will be fought in the court of law rather than in public opinion.

Thank you all for the support and love you have given us in this challenging time, we appreciate it and will always remember the kindness you have shown us.

It is not over until we win!
